PyCon Day 1

by Steven H. Rogers last modified 2007-04-14 06:54

I learned a lot today. Here's the short list.

  1. The One Laptop Per Child project is really awesome. They're using Python for most systems and application programming.
  2. Don't volunteer to chair one of the first sessions if you haven't done it before. Things weren't quite ready and I didn't know enough to be really helpful.
  3. It's a target rich environment if you're looking for work to do.
