I rode up to Northern Colorado BMW/Ducati to see the new Hypermotard at their open house this morning. I intended test ride the Ducati Multistrada and BMW F800S/ST but the latter was not available until late afternoon, so I balked. I had a brat and Red Bull while waiting for my turn on the Multistrada. When my turn came, I found the ergonomics just about perfect for me, the engine very willing, the sound wonderful, the handling and brakes great, and the ride firm but pleasant. The only drawbacks for me are the homely looks and possibly maintenance.
